Job Name: Senior Research Fellow

Project Name: “Engineered membrane vesicles of non-pathogenic bacteria for targeted delivery of first-line drugs against Mycobacterium tuberculosis”

Principal Investigator: Dr Jonathan D Pillai

Emoluments p.m.:

• Rs.28,000/-+ HRA (For NET/ GATE/ Post-Graduate Professional Degree Holders)
• Rs.18,000/-+ HRA (For others)

Qualifications:

BTech/MSc/MTech in Life Sciences or related disciplines, together with at least two years work experience from the following regions: Fundamental techniques in mammalian and bacterial cell culture, routine cell viability assessment, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, gel electrophoresis, brightfield and fluorescence microscopy, nucleic acid isolation, characterization and quantification (PCR/RT-PCR)

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop. Other common internet-based tools.
