A walk in interview has been scheduled at the Centre of Interdisciplinary Research in Basic
Sciences (CIRBSc.), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi for the appointment of a Research
Associate (RA) in the following project.
Project title: Molecular and bioinformatics based analysis of the candidate genes in water
buffalo Bubalus bubalis.
Funding agency : Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi
Essential Qualification (EQ): Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years
research, teaching and design and development experience after
MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed
(SCI) journal.
Desirable: Preference would be given to a candidate who has experience in the area of
Animal Biotechnology with focus on Bioinformatics based characterization of rare genes.

All the interested candidates who find themselves eligible for the said RA position as per the
above mentioned eligibility criteria may appear for the interview. Candidates need to bring an
application on a plain paper, updated CV and their original documents related to their
eligibility criteria and also a set of photocopy of those documents. Candidates must report for
the interview sharp at 9.30 A.M on June 12, 2017 (Monday) and get their original documents
verified. The interview would commence sharp at 10.00 A.M.
