Job Description
We at RB are looking for an Asst. Manager – Regulatory Affairs. The incumbent will assist Head of Regulatory & Medical Affairs in providing the regulatory compliance activities for RB products (assigned categories) and daily operation/administrative work of regulatory function, leading to the high performance of RA department in South Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Country RA Head to provide the regulatory compliance activities for the product portfolio in South Asia
- Execute the registration and regulatory compliance (e.g. label, advertising etc.) of RB products
- Assist the Country RA Head in regulatory issues resolution, regulatory input provision etc. affecting RB category in the country
- Provide the support daily operation/administrative work of regulatory function, as assigned by the Country RA Head
- Liaise with a range of colleagues from Country marketing, R&D, supply, and global/regional regulatory teams.
Professional Attributes:
- Must have a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, human biology, human medicine, veterinary medicine, biochemistry or biology
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Hindi
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in OTC markets, or other regulated healthcare categories e.g. cosmetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food supplement, biocides) and preferably in FMCG environment
- Broad knowledge of South Asia regulatory systems including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal etc
- Experience in handling issues resolution in regulatory affairs
- Sound performer in interacting with regulatory authorities
