Attend Walk-in Interview for the post of SRF @ University of Calcutta

The Court of Directors of the East India Company sent a despatch in July, 1854 to the Governor-General of India in Council, suggesting the establishment of the Universities of Calcutta, Madras and Bombay. In pursuance of that despatch, the University of Calcutta was founded on JANUARY 24, 1857. The University adopted in the first instance, the pattern of the University of London and gradually introduced modifications in its constitution.

A walk-in interview is being held for the following post:

Name of the post: Senior research Fellow

Name of the project: Exploration of the therapeutic potential of hyaluronic acid decorated
different graphene based nano materials for targeting cancer stem cells: A novel approach aiding cancer therapy funded by DBT, Government of India

Name of the guide: Prof. Dipankar Chattopadhyay

Eligibility:

  • M.Sc. / M.Tech (with a minimum of 60% marks) in Biological or Chemical Sciences or equivalent with a minimum research experience of two years.
  • The candidate having experience in biological laboratory techniques will be given preference.

Stipend: Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA
