NIAB Recruitment 2016 – Project Fellow/JRF/SRF Vacancies
National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), an autonomous institute under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, invites application for the post of Project Fellows/JRF/SRF in the area of Animal biotechnology at Hyderabad.
Minimum Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences (incl. Veterinary Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.) or M.Tech with Biotechnology /Life Sciences). For SRF two years of research experience other than post-graduation is required.
Candidates with experience in infectious diseases, molecular biology, protein chemistry, animal cell culture biology will be preferred.
Candidates with masters in professional degrees and MSc candidates either with NET/GATE qualification of sufficiently high score/rank or with two years of research experience will be considered for higher fellowship amount depending upon the funds allocated to the project or as per Institutional policy.
Age: 30 years (5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)
The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year and extended after review.
