A humble beginning as a Job & News Portal in 2006 to a mammoth-sized Organization with 5 Offices in 4 Cities – We have seen 10 generations of BT Professionals pass by. We saw the Problems faced by the pass outs every year and we did everything we could. However, today as we look back we feel our efforts are just a small drop in the ocean and we have a lot more to do in this country to ensure the growth and awareness which this sector deserves.
As I write to you today, tears roll down my eyes for the plight every fresher faced and is facing, every researcher faces every day till date. While we felt happy each time someone wrote to us saying they got a Job due to BioTecNika, we also saw the frustration of many who wrote back saying they have applied for many jobs and yet no response. At times there was a skill gap in between the demands of the industry and the skill set of the Job Seeker. Every now and then we realized that Competitive Exams such as CSIR NET & GATE a
re serving as a National benchmark in selections in most companies and Institutes. And that gave us the courage to pursue our work further.It’s our 10th Year and we would like to dedicate our 5th Office to the Nation’s budding Research Community in Kolkata.
Why Kolkata & Why Now?
As we sat down to discuss and chart the direction in which BioTecNika should be moving in the next decade, We realized that our Physical presence in all four zones is imperative for the holistic growth of our Research Community. With Bangalore, Noida & Pune we were covering just the 3 zones and were missing out on the 4th Zone. Kolkata is one of the biggest Hub of India’s most talented set of Researchers & Hardworking Aspirants.
