Saurashtra University invites Applications for the post of Project Fellow
Saurashtra University, established on 23rd May, 1967, is situated in Rajkot city of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat State. The campus of the University is spread over 360 acres of land. The jurisdiction of the University includes Amreli, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Porbandar, Rajkot,Surendranagar,Morbi,Gir Somnath and Dwarka districts. It has 28 Post graduate Departments on its campus and 297 affiliated colleges.
Applications are invited for the post of Project Fellow in a research project “Metatranscriptome of Milk Microbiome and Pharmacokinetics of Phage Therapy in Treatment of Sub-Clinical and Clinical Bovine Mastitis” Funded by DST.
The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the administrative rules / service conditions of Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot.
Project Title: “Metatranscriptome of Milk Microbiome and Pharmacokinetics of Phage Therapy in Treatment of Sub-Clinical and Clinical Bovine Mastitis”
Position Title: Project Fellow
Qualification: M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology)/ M. Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Bio-Chemistry with minimum 55% or above marks. Knowledge of Bioinformatics, Molecular biology techniques is desirable.
Project Duration: About 3 years
Fellowship: Rs. 14,000/- fixed p.m.
