Principal Investigator: Prof. Gopinath Packirisamy, Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Title of Project: Commercial Scale-Up of a Portable Potentiostat Platform for Non-invasive Multiplexed Salivary Diagnosis and Prognosis of Oral and Lung Cancer (ICM-2822-BIO)
Sponsor of the Project: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi
Project Position and Number: Project Research Scientist II (Non-medical: 01 number)
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post-qualification experience or a PhD.
- For Engineering (Biotechnology / Biomedical engineering/electronics/equivalent): Graduate degree of four years with three years’ post-qualification experience.
Shortlisting Criteria: Minimum 2 first-author research publications in the biosensors field and a minimum of 1 patent filed/granted
Emoluments: Rs. 67,000 per month (+10% HRA)
Duration: 36 months (initially sanctioned for 1 year (up to March 1, 2027), and extension of project tenure is based upon performance review by ICMR)
Job Description: To advance research and development in portable potentiostat devices and nanobiosensing platforms.
Candidates, before appearing for an interview, shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply for.
