Job Summary
The Research Associate will be responsible for executing experiments related to process and device optimization for biologic molecules. The role involves planning and conducting experiments, analyzing results, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Executes assigned projects within the Formulation and Drug Product Development (FDPD) function, focusing on process and device optimization.
- Develops and implements methods for characterization of pipeline molecules, supporting container closure selection and process characterization.
- Analyzes experimental data and prepares technical reports and presentations for internal review.
- Assists in data acquisition, processing, and compilation, including drafting study protocols and method development reports.
- Maintains accurate documentation of all work, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Quality Management Systems.
- Supports additional FDPD activities as assigned by the Team Lead or Functional Head.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Science (Biochemistry or Biotechnology) or B.Tech in Mechanical/Biotechnology. 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
Skills & Attributes
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of process and device functionality.
- Hands-on experience with medical device testing, particularly UTM handling.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
