Areas of Responsibility
- Analyze raw materials, Intermediate (Blends), and EOL Finished Goods, and report to the unit head on the findings. In this position, skills related to quality assurance jobs will be crucial for success.
- Inspect packaging materials received at Units, Market & report to the unit head
- Communicate with vendors on non-conformities and issues of CAR to the vendor
- Ensure online QC, such as line startup/changeover from water treatment to final packing
- Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at the unit
- Calibrate all lab equipment, arrive at a calibration plan, and manage operations as per the supplier manual
- Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment as per the supplier’s recommendation
- Analyze samples received for customer/consumer complaint and provide a report on findings to the unit head
- Provide expertise on the standardization of chemical reagents and calibration required for the lab
- Analyze non-conformities using tools and arrive at a CAPA desirable solution
- Assist the quality manager for all quality jobs & MIS report preparation & submission to the unit head
- End-of-line defects (PPM)
- L1 audit score
- Liquid quality compliance
- Adherence to quality standards
Qualification:
- Graduate / Post Graduate caliber or equivalent – preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT. Candidates applying for quality roles should demonstrate relevant training for assurance jobs in this sector.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems on Food Processing / FMCG –Distillery, Brewery, and Beverage Industry. Professionals with a background in quality assurance jobs will have an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality-related SOPs, and their control. Knowledge of the latest quality assurance jobs practices within the beverage industry is a plus.
- Experience in handling quality improvement projects
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
