Responsibilities:
- Lead and Implement Standards: Take full ownership of Quality Standard #25 for packaging testing and developing comprehensive laboratory programs for all incoming materials. These responsibilities are central for candidates targeting quality assurance jobs.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage the full lifecycle of laboratory equipment, including Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), calibration, and maintenance of master data.
- Drive Quality Control & Compliance: Perform quality control on incoming packaging, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and coordinate with suppliers to secure timely CAPAs.
- Manage Technology & Change: Coordinate technology transfer processes for new or modified packaging and lead laboratory investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- People Leadership: Coach and develop the skills of packaging laboratory personnel, ensuring a culture of safety (EOHS) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). These tasks are essential for success in quality assurance jobs and professional growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or Master’s degree (MSc) in Packaging, Engineering, or Quality.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Quality, Production, or a related technical field, ideal for those interested in quality assurance jobs.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in laboratory testing methods, equipment qualification, and the ability to interpret technical release specifications.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to manage SOP reviews and checklists within a Document Management System (DMS)

- CPG Experience: Previous experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is highly preferred.
- Advanced Technical Skills: Specialized knowledge in Packaging Technology Transfer and conducting supplier audits. Previous exposure to quality assurance jobs will be an advantage.
