Key Responsibilities – QC Microbiology Job
- General management of all matters relating to Facilities for day-to-day site operations in compliance with regulatory, statutory, and corporate standards.
- Provide engineering/technical support and ensure efficient facility management and operation.
- Ensure compliance with all quality systems, SOPs, safety procedures, and biosecurity protocols in coordination with the QA department.
- Manage plant, equipment, utilities, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, security, building services, and pest control.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all facility equipment.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and manage external cleaning contractors.
- Support facility design, construction management, and capital expenditure planning.
- Oversee daily operations of Facilities and Equipment Calibration activities.
- Ensure SOPs, protocols, and reports are accurate and prepared by trained personnel.
- Manage external contractors, including quotations, risk assessments, and work permits.
- Coordinate with security teams and manage Technical “On-Call” activities.
- Handle Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) systems, audits, risk assessments, and compliance.
- Investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and ensure safe working conditions.
- Manage energy systems, including electricity, fuel, water, and waste, with audits.
Qualifications – BSc Microbiology Jobs
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or related discipline required.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Experience – QC Microbiology Job
- 1–2 years of experience in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry.
- Experience in a QC Microbiology Lab, especially in a pharmaceutical setting, is an advantage.
Skills Required – Life Science Careers
- Strong understanding of Equipment Calibration (temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, etc.).
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality systems.
- Ability to manage facilities, utilities, and technical operations efficiently.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with QA, operations, and external vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
