Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A degree such as M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Pharm., MBBS, Integrated M.Sc., or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 60% marks / First Class / equivalent CGPA (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates as per Government of India norms)
- Candidates in their final year are eligible, provided they complete requirements by July 2026
- A valid national fellowship (UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR JRF, DST INSPIRE, or equivalent) that can be activated in 2026
- Candidates with JGEEBILS or GATE-only qualification are not eligible
Application Fee
- ₹354 (₹300 + 18% GST) for UR/EWS/OBC candidates
- Fee Exemption: SC/ST, Female candidates, and PwD applicants (with valid certificates)

The selection process consists of multiple stages:
