Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online quality checks in process and packaging areas to ensure compliance with FLI quality standards
- Monitor machine parameters (peelers, slicers, fryers, conveyors, seasoning systems) and ensure optimal performance
- Ensure efficient fryer oil utilization and perform product weak link and PAE analysis regularly
- Identify quality deviations, implement corrective actions, and communicate issues to production teams and management
- Perform packaging quality checks, finished product inspection, and random film quality analysis
- Drive product quality evaluations, process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), and minimize machine-related waste
- Maintain accurate quality reports, SAP entries, and circulate shift, weekly, and monthly quality summaries
- Conduct housekeeping audits and ensure safety, hygiene, and proper working conditions in the plant
- Manage hold materials, assign NCD tags, and ensure timely clearance to minimize wastage
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws (FSSAI, Weights & Measures), resolve customer complaints, support training, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Post Graduate/ MSc in Food Tech/ dairy technology with 2 to 6 years of experience in Food/Beverage/FMCG industry.
Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, AIB, TPM, ISO and food safety systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in FMCG quality control
- Understanding of GMP, GLP practices
- Communication and reporting skills
