Job Overview
The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance across all stages of production. The role involves quality inspections, process monitoring, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects raw materials and packaging for quality compliance.
- Conducts in-process and finished goods checks to ensure batch consistency.
- Implements quality control systems and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Investigates quality deviations and customer complaints using root cause analysis.
- Maintains documentation for internal audits and external certifications.
- Coordinates with production and sanitation teams to ensure hygiene standards.
- Validates cleaning processes and monitors environmental conditions.
- Prepares and presents quality reports to plant leadership.
- Conducts training sessions for staff on quality protocols.
- Supports product traceability and recall management processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in FMCG or food production.
Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with food safety and quality standards such as Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and ISO frameworks.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail in inspection and documentation.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and sample analysis.
