Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and perform routine and complex Microbiological testing in compliance with laboratory test methods and procedures to support the manufacturing and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Coordinate and execute activities of Quality Control, Microbiology section to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established Quality & Regulatory standards by performing the assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Perform applicable Compendia testing, Microbiological Test Method validations/verifications.
- Initiate and participate in investigations for non-conforming laboratory test results, laboratory incidents, and out of specifications / OOT.
- Ensure Troubleshooting methodology is applied as per requirements and instrument problems are rectified timely.
- Perform Microbiological tests using aseptic techniques and Microbiological skills, including Bioburden test, Water tests, MLT, Bacterial Endotoxin Tests, and more.
- Plan and execute activities related to Microbiological SOP preparation, protocols, reports preparations including instrument validations.
- Operate according to current GxPs regarding documenting, testing, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
- Support and execute activities related to Microbiology Projects, Change Controls, and Effectiveness Monitoring.
- Ensure personal and company compliance with all local and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Microbiology or Life Sciences.
- Required Experience: 2-6 years in Microbiology; Local Food and Drugs Administration approved preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of GxP Documentation, Test Method and Specification, and current regulations.
- QMS: In-depth knowledge of tools for investigation of OOS / NC.
- Cross-Functional coordination: Coordination skills with all stakeholders.
- Instrumentation and Analysis: Overall knowledge of Microbiological Instrumentation and analysis.
