About the Role
Anderson Diagnostic & Labs is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Genome Analyst
with foundational expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis. This role
involves working on panel sequencing, clinical exome, and whole exome datasets, with a
strong focus on clinical genomics and variant interpretation. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering accurate, high-quality genomic insights that
support clinical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze NGS datasets including WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, and targeted gene panels
- Perform variant interpretation following established clinical guidelines (e.g.,
ACMG) - Develop, execute, and maintain basic bioinformatics pipelines
- Prepare, review, and validate clinical genomic reports
- Conduct data annotation, scientific documentation, and report writing
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve analysis quality and reporting standards
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Genetics, or related field OR
- B.Tech in Bioinformatics OR
- PhD in a relevant specialization
Experience
1+ Year (Clinical Genomics / NGS Data Analysis)
Salary
₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of NGS data analysis workflows
- Knowledge of genetic variant interpretation principles
- Familiarity with genomics tools, databases, and pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good scientific writing and documentation abilities
