Post 1: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)
- No. of vacancies: 01 Position (UR-01)
- Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences/ Public Health, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post-qualification experience (Maternal health research and field work in tribal population) or PhD.
- Age: Not exceeding 40 years on the date of the walk-in interview / written test. However, Age relaxation as per the rules is applicable.
- Remuneration: Rs.67,000/- + HRA per month fixed without any other allowances
- Tenure: Initially for up to one year (extendable as per norms). However, the position is terminus at any point in time.
- Place of work: Project work site at Udaipur or anywhere in India, based on the requirements of the project.
- Date, Reporting Time & Venue of Walk-in: 09.04.2026, 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM & ICMR-NIIRNCD, Jodhpur
Post 2: Project Technical Support-III
- No. of vacancies: 03 Positions (OBC-01, EWS-01, ST-01)
- Essential Qualifications:
Graduate in Science/BAMS/BHMS + three years’ experience.
Or
Post-Graduate (Zoology/Biochemistry/Sociology/ Life Science/ MPH). These requirements open doors for candidates interested in jobs within Life Science. - Age: Not exceeding 35 years on the date of Walk-in-interview / written test. However, Age relaxation as per the rules is applicable.

General Terms and Conditions
- Temporary Position: All roles are purely temporary and do not guarantee permanent employment under ICMR-National Institute for Implementation Research on Non-Communicable Diseases. Furthermore, these Life Science Jobs are limited to the tenure of the projects.
- Eligibility & Documents: Candidates must bring original certificates, self-attested copies, and required documents (including NOC if employed), or they will not be considered.
- Selection Process: Only shortlisted/eligible candidates will appear for the Walk-in interview or written test; meeting eligibility does not guarantee selection.
- No Allowances: No TA/DA or additional benefits (PF, medical, etc.) will be provided for attending the interview or during the project tenure.
- Authority Rights: The institute reserves the right to modify, cancel, or change recruitment, positions, or interview dates without prior notice.
Selection Procedure
i. Only eligible candidates will appear for the walk-in interview / written test. In case of more than 30 candidates, a written test may be taken. The qualifying marks for the written test will be for SC / ST: 35%, UR / OBC / EWS: 40%
ii. The candidates scoring qualifying marks shall be interviewed as mentioned in the table below, if a written test is conducted.
iii. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test/interview, subject to qualifying the skill test, wherever applicable. On a related note, candidates searching for Life Science Jobs should ensure they meet all requirements.
iv. The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of the marks of the written test and interview. In case of non-conductance of the written test being less than 30 candidates, the merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the interview.
