The Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to work under the ANRF-ARG-sponsored project titled “Targeting autophagy-fueled oral cancer metabolome to prevent host cachexia” in the Department of Biotechnology, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India. Eligibility:
- M.Sc./M.Tech/First class Engineering Graduate degree of 4 years in any field of Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biomedical Engineering or allied field.
- Prior experience in cancer biology, cell culture, and molecular biology will be preferred.
- A candidate with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/ DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
Remuneration:
Rs 37,000 per month + HRA 10% for 1st, 2nd year, and Rs 40,700/ per month + HRA 10% for 3rd year as per the ANRF norms and institutional guidelines. Based on performance, the candidate may be registered for a PhD position.
Duration of the project: 3 Years
