Eligibility
- Students who are currently pursuing their first year of M. Sc., M. Tech, OR students in their fourth year of B. Tech, B. Sc. or integrated M. Sc.
- Eligible applicants, who are bona fide PG students with a consistently strong academic record and a commitment to pursuing studies in modern biology such as Cell & Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Infection Biology, Cancer Biology, and Microbial Ecology are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants who have already completed or are expected to complete their post-graduation before the training session ends are ineligible to apply. Meeting the essential eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting or subsequent selection.

To submit your online application form, visit the ‘Project Positions’ section under the ‘Careers’ menu on the NCCS website and upload the following documents as a single PDF file not exceeding 1 MB:

- Cumulative mark sheet of your Bachelor’s degree OR third-year mark sheet for four-year programs.
- A certificate from the Head of Department/Principal of your College/University, using the provided format in ‘Annexure A’. It must be printed on official letterhead, duly signed, stamped, and scanned before uploading.
- Applications missing these attachments will not be considered for selection.

- NCCS does not offer any stipend or impose any fees for the PG dissertation program.
- The dissertation program requires a full-time commitment, with potential on-campus hostel accommodation on a chargeable, first-come-first-served basis.
- Part-time dissertations are not accepted; students must complete a minimum of 5 or 10 months for a completion certificate.
- Students must adhere to NCCS rules and attend all scheduled activities.
