Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute recombinant antibody development using innovative molecular, protein, and cell biology methods to ensure high performance and specificity.
- Plan and perform experiments meticulously, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in antibody development through regular literature review and research analysis.
- Compile, present, and communicate scientific data effectively, while actively participating in team meetings and maintaining strong attention to detail and timelines.
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have a Master’s or a PhD in a life sciences field (submitted within the last year) with a strong focus on molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
Experience
0-4 years’ experience (Freshers can apply)
Skills Required
- Thorough knowledge of immunology and flow cytometry; experience in cell sorting is preferred
- Ability to process blood or tissue and isolate cells, particularly mammalian PBMCs and splenocytes
- Experience in aseptic expansion and maintenance of mammalian cancer cell lines and primary cells, including accurate cryopreservation, is desired
- Demonstrated proficiency in ELISA and other immunoassays
- Experience in protein biology, including antigen design, conjugation, protein expression, and purification, is good to have
- Working knowledge and experience in molecular biology workflows such as high-throughput molecular cloning, plasmid vector construction, PCRs, Restriction digestion, Ligation, Transformation, Mini and maxi preps, and sequencing is desirable
- Ability to provide technical troubleshooting to resolve scientific problems
- Proficient in MS Office and statistical software such as GraphPad Prism
- Theoretical or practical experience in antibody development platforms is desirable
- Project or work experience in support of relevant skills, such as publications, project reports, or thesis work, is desired.
