Role Overview
The Associate or Senior Editor will manage and evaluate research submissions in computational biology, with a focus on public health applications. Key Responsibilities
- Manage original research manuscripts through all stages of the editorial process, including peer review and selection
- Commission and edit content such as Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and News & Views
- Engage with researchers through conferences and institutional visits
- Contribute to maintaining the journal’s high editorial standards
Required Qualifications
- PhD in computational biology or a closely related field
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary scientific research
- Ability to quickly understand new research areas
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral research experience (desirable but not mandatory)
