Job Objective
The Executive – Biotechnology role is designed for a highly motivated professional with strong technical expertise in biosimilar product analysis. The role focuses on analytical method development, impurity characterization, and regulatory support within biologics development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops HPLC-based analytical methods for protein and peptide products.
- Designs and implements integrated analytical strategies for qualitative and quantitative assessment of product-related variants and impurities.
- Applies advanced techniques such as RP-HPLC, SEC-HPLC, N-Glycan analysis, and CEX-HPLC.
- Designs workflows to measure and characterize process-related impurities, including Host Cell Proteins (HCPs), Host Cell DNA (HCD), and leachables across development stages.
- Qualifies analytical methods for intended use across pipeline products.
- Performs routine in-process sample analysis.
- Prepares and reviews method development reports (MDR), method qualification reports (MQR), and analytical test procedures (ATP).
- Ensures operation and maintenance of the analytical laboratory in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Manages regulatory queries and contributes to drafting technical content for regulatory dossiers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.
- Experience: 0–4 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong expertise in analytical techniques, particularly HPLC-based methods.
- Knowledge of biosimilar product characterization and impurity profiling.
- Familiarity with GLP regulations and regulatory documentation processes.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
