Job Summary

The Officer – Production (Mammalian) is responsible for supporting downstream production activities, including buffer preparation, equipment operations, and documentation. The role ensures efficient execution of protein purification processes while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Performs buffer preparation for both small- and large-scale operations, along with IPQC (In-Process Quality Control) of buffer and protein intermediate samples.
  • Conducts Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) of chromatography systems, TFF systems, and process vessels.
  • Executes Sterilization-In-Place (SIP) for TFF systems and process vessels.
  • Operates chromatography systems, TFF systems, virus filtration systems, and downstream (DS) filtration processes for protein purification.
  • Prepares, executes, and maintains SOPs, Batch Production Records (BPRs), qualification documents, and other facility-related documentation.
  • Coordinates with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams for daily production activities.
  • Reviews executed Batch Production Records (BPRs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manages raw material and consumables inventory planning and tracking.
  • Operates and maintains sterile and decontamination autoclaves.

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree or Master’s in Biotechnology (or related field).

Work Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical or biotech production.
