Key Responsibilities
- Support establishment of demonstration plots for Regenerative Agriculture (RA) and Wildlife-Friendly Agriculture Practices (WFAP) in coordination with stakeholders
- Monitor RA and WFAP farms regularly to track implementation progress and provide technical guidance to field teams
- Assist in implementing community engagement, sustainable agriculture, conservation, and resource management initiatives
- Ensure timely execution of project activities across all project locations
- Support strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), value addition initiatives, and market linkages
- Assist in processes related to organic certification and compliance requirements
- Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative project data using standardized monitoring tools
- Support development of IEC materials, reports, and publications for knowledge dissemination
- Coordinate with partners, district administration, civil society organizations, and community groups for project implementation
- Identify and build capacity of local community leaders to promote regenerative and wildlife-friendly agriculture practices
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s /Master’s degree is required, preferably in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture Extension etc.
- At least one to two years of prior experience working directly with farming communities, specifically in agriculture-focused initiatives such as farmer mobilisation, sustainable farming practices, or FPO-related activities.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of rural socio-economic and environmental contexts
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Experience with GIS mapping and PRA tools
- Fluency in Hindi and English
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet tools
- Experience in training community mobilizers and institutions
