Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to EHS policies, safety procedures, and promote a strong safety culture across teams
- Drive compliance with company integrity, quality standards, and EHSS requirements
- Monitor safety metrics, conduct audits, and ensure timely completion of safety and data integrity training
- Support emergency management systems, contractor safety, and strengthen the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
- Organize safety trainings, firefighting demos, PEP Talks, and Toolbox Talks for employees
- Issue and monitor work permits (PTW) for non-routine activities and ensure compliance
- Conduct mock drills, evacuation exercises, and update emergency response plans and SOPs
- Assist in incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance and maintenance of emergency equipment, fire systems, and PPE usage
- Identify unsafe conditions, monitor critical operations, and support teams during emergency situations
Educational Qualification
BSc/MSc (Microbiology/Biochemistry/Zoology) with Diploma in Industrial safety
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Safe Systems of work (permit to work, risk assessment etc.)
- Compliance (regulatory and internal)
- Knowledge on Environmental management
- Incident/Accident management
- Emergency management
