Job Description:
- Applications are invited for one post of Senior Research Fellow with a fellowship (Fixed amount of Rs. 42,000 per month + HRA (20%)) in a sanctioned research project (ANRF, New Delhi) entitled “Investigating the role of TRIMNHL proteins in modulating release of mitochondrial DAMPs and inflammation in Parkinson’s Disease”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The duration of the project will be a maximum of 3 years.

Essential Qualifications:
- First-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Zoology, Animal Science, or Life Sciences.
- Qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examination.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in the maintenance and differentiation of primary cell cultures.
- Expertise in fundamental techniques and functional assays of neurobiology, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of neuro-biology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology, and cell biology.
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 35 years for the general category. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST, physically handicapped, and female candidates, as per Government of India rules.
