Job Description
Rivarp Medical Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Executive – QC (Microbiology) to join
our Quality Control team. The role involves routine and advanced microbiological testing,
environmental monitoring, and laboratory maintenance activities in compliance with GMP
and regulatory standards. The candidate should have hands-on experience in microbiology
lab operations within a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation of microbiological media and performance of basic microbiology testing
• Conduct Device Sterility Testing
• Perform LAL / Pyrogen Testing
• Carry out Bioburden Testing for finished products and raw materials
• Execute Fumigation activities and related validation tests
• Perform Water System Validation Tests
• Conduct Microorganism Identification Tests
• Perform Finger Dab Tests and Swab Tests (Area & Cleanroom Garments)
• Carry out Environmental Monitoring (Air, Surface, and Personnel)
• Perform GPT, Sub-culturing, and Biological Indicator (BI) Tests
• Maintain and review test reports and microbiology documentation
• Monitor and record Temperature, Pressure, Relative Humidity (RH), and
Cleaning activities of the microbiology lab
• Support Autoclave Validation and testing activities
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration coordination of microbiology lab
equipment
• Handle microbiology lab-related material indenting, follow-up, and inventory
• Review and prepare SOPs related to microbiology testing when required
• Develop and maintain microbiology documents such as Protocols, SOPs, Checklists,
Formats, and Reports
Qualification & Experience
• M.Sc. in Microbiology (Mandatory)
• 3+ years of relevant experience in QC Microbiology
• Sound knowledge of GMP, GLP, and microbiological testing procedures
• Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
