Qualifications
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology or any closely related field. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.
- Preferences: Candidates with hands-on experience in cell culture; experience in handling cytotoxicity studies of peptides, peptide antibiotics, and the mechanism of action of antimicrobial peptides; proficiency in confocal microscopy; and experience in handling animals will be preferred.
Tenure of Appointment: Initially for a period of 6 months extendable for further periods subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
Emoluments
- Consolidated Emoluments per Month:
1] Rs.58,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance.
2] Rs.42,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month for candidates who have submitted their thesis and will be designated as Senior Research Fellow.
Age Limit:
- Age as on the date of Walk-in interviews: 35 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.

- Walk-in Interview Day, Date & Reporting Time: Tuesday, 07.04.2026, 10.30 AM. Candidates reporting after 10.30 AM will not be considered for the selection process.
