Job Details:
CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru, desires to engage qualified candidates as Project Associate-II and Project Assistant-II purely on temporary contractual basis for the project entitled “Accelerating trans fat elimination in India to reduce cardiovascular diseases” with project number GAP-666. The engagement is initially for a period up to six months and may be extendable up to one year based on the requirement or till the end of the project duration, whichever is earlier, at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, Karnataka.

Project Associate – II (PAT-II)
- Post Code: GAP666-01
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Stipend & HRA: Rs.28,000/- + 18% HRA
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Technology or Life Sciences. And Two years Experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Job Requirements: Food analysis, GC and HPLC techniques
Project Assistant-II (PA-II)

- Age Limit: 35 years
- Stipend & HRA: Rs.20,000/- + 18% HRA
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology or Food Technology
Job Requirements: Food analysis and survey
Desirable Qualification/Experience
- For PAT-II: Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Biochemistry, Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology with hands-on expertise in analysis or for oils, fats, working experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC & GC and NET/GATE qualified will be preferred.
- For PA-II: Bachelor’s Degree with hands-on experience in analysis or for conducting survey, working experience in food analysis will be preferred.
