Job Details:
The selected candidates for these research jobs will assist scientists in conducting multilocational field trials and laboratory experiments related to pest management in tea plantations. Field Trial Assistant
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
- No of posts: Two
- Locations:
1) North Bengal regional R&D Centre, West Bengal
2) Upper Assam Advisory Centre, Dikom - Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Life Science/ Entomology/ Zoology/ Tea Science from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Duration: Initially 3 months and will be eventually renewed based on work performance
- Job Responsibility:
- The candidate will have to involve in executing the experimental layout, conducting multilocational field trials, data collection and laboratory bioassays.
Project Assistant
- Project title: Development of a Chitosan Based Nano-Botanical Biopesticide Using Neem and Karanj Oil and its Evaluation against Tea Mosquito, Looper and Red Spider Mite Infesting Tea
- Upper Age Limit: 30 years
- No of posts: One
- Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science/ Entomology/ Zoology/ Plant Pathology from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 15000/- per month + 8% HRA
- Duration: 4 months
- Job Responsibility:
- The candidate will have to involve in executing the experimental layout, conducting multilocational field trials, data collection and laboratory bioassays.
