Positions Available
1. Research Associate I (RA-I) – 01 Position
- Project Title: Glycemic Control, Bioavailability, and Therapeutic Efficacy of Nutraceutical Pellets Derived from Palmyra Fruit Peel and Pulp in Diabetic Models (GAP-96)
- Essential: PhD degree in Biochemistry.
- Desirable:
- Experience in natural product development.
- Experience in in vivo and in vitro studies.
- Proficiency in molecular and gene expression techniques, including PCR, Western blotting, docking, etc.
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 58,000/- (Consolidated Pay)
- Tenure: Tentative date of completion: 31.03.29
2. Young Professional (YP-I) – 01 Position
- Project Title: Design and Functional Characterization of High-Protein Drinking Chocolate Beverage
- Qualification: B.Tech or M.Sc. in Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology and Management/ Food Science/ Food and Nutrition/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- (Consolidated Pay)
- Tenure: 6 months

General Instructions
- Age limit: RA-I/YP-I – 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview.
- Application fee ₹500; SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates are exempted.
- Candidates must fill the prescribed application form available on the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management website.
- Submit the filled hard copy of the application form with required documents at the time of interview.
- Walk-in interview on 24 March 2026 at National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur.
- Bring original certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), mark sheets, publications, CV, two passport photos, and photocopies of documents.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Engagement is purely temporary and project-based.
- Selected candidates will work six days a week except second Saturday and Government holidays.
- Tenure will be till project completion and may be terminated anytime without assigning reasons.
- Candidates wishing to resign must give one month’s notice or pay one month’s consolidated salary.
- Selected candidates must devote full time to the project and assigned work.
- Engagement may be terminated if performance is unsatisfactory.
