- Project Title: “Development of an optimal model for sickle cell disease screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care: An implementation research study.”
- Project Goal: Developing a model for screening, diagnosis, and care for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).
- Field-Intensive Work: Staff will be required to stay in the tribal areas of the Alluri Seetharama Raju district.
- Health System Integration: You will work closely with Government Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Health & Wellness Centres.
- Community Engagement: Responsibilities include community mobilization, sensitization programs, and training for health facility personnel.

- Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical): ₹78,000 + HRA.
- Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical): ₹67,000 + HRA.
- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): ₹56,000 + HRA.
- Project Technical Support-II: ₹28,000 + HRA.
- Project Technical Support-I: ₹18,000 + HRA.
Qualifications and Eligibility
The university is looking for candidates with backgrounds in Life Sciences.
- Scientist-III/II/I: Requires a Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences.
- Scientist-III Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in community-based health research or a PhD.
- Scientist-I Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience exclusively in community-based health research.
- Technical Support-II: MA/MSc in relevant Life Sciences with 2 years of experience.
- Technical Support-I: B.Sc. in Life Science with 2 years of experience.
- Age Limits: Varies by post from 28 to 45 years, with standard GOI relaxations for SC/ST/OBC.
