- Position Title: Senior Project Associate
- Project Title: Advancing Regional Science to Protect South Asia’s Most Vulnerable from Extreme Heat” (Project Code: 33825772)
- No. of posts: 01 (One)
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Biology or related areas.
- Experiences: 2 years’ research experience post Master’s degree
- Preference: Candidates with prior experience in leading research projects in any field will be preferred.
- Job Requirements: Incumbent is expected to develop the scientific and operational plans for the project and will be involved in execution of the project across the field sites, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are on track by coordinating with other project staff and collaborators.
Emoluments
Rs. 57,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance

General Information
- Tenure of the Appointment: Initially for a period of six months, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and availability of funds.
- Age of Applicant as on Last Date of Application: 35 years
- Age relaxation may be considered for candidates having qualifications and experience higher than advertised with prior approval of the competent authority.
- The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in Funding Agency or in IISER Pune.
- The appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
- The prescribed educational qualification should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
- Prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
- Number of posts may vary depending upon the requirements during the selection process.
- The experience requirement may be relaxed based on the cohort of applications received with the prior approval of the competent authority.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
