Position Details
- Position: Project Assistant
- Number of posts: 01
- Project Title: Unraveling the etiology, characterization and seed transmission studies of new viruses associated with vein necrosis disease of soybean
- Emoluments (Fixed per month): 20000/-pm + 27% HRA for three years
- Upper age limit: 35 years
- Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Any branch of life sciences with first class or OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/institution
- Desirable: 3 years of working experience in basic molecular techniques, Virus screening under field and glasshouse conditions.

- The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview which will be held in Offline mode at Division of Seed Science and Technology, ICAR Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India-110012.

Terms and Conditions
- Age limit: Maximum age of 21 – 35 years for PA as on date of interview (Age relaxation SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women and other exempted categories as per GOI guidelines).
- The post is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis which may be extended periodically subject to the performance of the candidate till the termination of the project.
- The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminus with the project.
- Reporting time for walk-in-interview will be till 10.30 am and no candidates will be entertained after that.
- The candidates will have to compulsorily fill in the application form (as per the format annexed).
- Attach copies of certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/LS/GATE Equivalent certificate, degree certificates, and a recent photograph enclosed on the scanned application form. Enclose the proof of experience, NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (if employed), and publications.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining, if selected.
- Only the candidates meeting essential qualifications would be interviewed.
- Concealing of facts or CANVASSING in any form shall lead to the disqualification of such candidates.
- In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the New Delhi court only.
- The final results of the interview will be hosted on the institute’s website 10 days after the interview, so no phone calls will be entertained before that.
