About the Institute
BRIC–National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (NABI) is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Since its establishment in 2010, the institute has contributed to biofortification, designer crops, and functional food development. - Positions: Post Doc Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR)
- No. of Posts: One Position
- Project Title: B-SMART: Bacteria Sensing through Mobile Aptamer Recognition Technology (EIR FUND)
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Nitin Kumar Singhal, Scientist – F, BRIC-NABI
- Duration: Initially for one year, and can be extended on an annual basis.
Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology or any other related subject.
- Desirable Experience: Experience in SELEX/Aptamer Selection, Fluorescence assays, Microfluidic development, Hands-on experience culturing and handling bacteria, Device Fabrication. A candidate with more than 2 years of research experience in a relevant area/industry exposure/regulatory affair with expertise, will be preferred. Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
Fellowship: 1.30 lakhs per month.
Age limit: Below 45 years
