Job Details:
- Job Title: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Project Title: “In vivo antibacterial efficacy of encapsulated peptide functionalized enzymatic nanomotors against Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli induced gastroenteritis”
- Number of Positions: One (01)
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Simran Preet (Email: [email protected].)
- Emoluments/Fellowship: The selected candidate will be paid a stipend of Rs. 56,000 + (20% HRA).
- Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- Age Limit: 35 years (Other relaxations as per ICMR and Panjab University norms are applicable)
Essential Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a Post Graduate degree, including the integrated PG degree, with a minimum of 55 percent marks in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Allied fields.
- “Candidates with UGC-NET/GATE/other national entrance test conducted by Government of India will be preferred.”
Desirable Experience:
- Prior experience in nanoparticle synthesis, various microbiological, and molecular biology techniques.
