- Project Title: Development of an Integrated Sample-to-Answer Detection System for Simultaneous Detection of Multiple Viral Agents Based on the Polymer/Paper-based Hybrid Microfluidics Platform.
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (01)
- Duration: Two years
- Salary: Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA (Revision awaited) Total Rs. 46,990/- per month
Educational Qualification:
Essential:
- First-class post-graduate degree (M.Sc./MS) in Life Sciences
- First-class post-graduate degree (M. Tech.) in Biomedical Engineering/ Bioengineering/ Biotechnology.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with the development of LAMP-based assay
Desirable:
- Experience/ Knowledge in molecular biology tools, such as LAMP, checkerboard ELISA
- Experience/ Knowledge in working with lateral flow assay
- Experience on paper-based devices will be an advantage.
Age Limit: 35 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and optimization of paper-based microfluidic and lateral flow devices
- Development of LAMP assay for multiple viral agents
- Validation through comparison with ELISA and paper-based LAMP assays
- Testing with real clinical samples
- Frequent travel for collaborative analysis
