Project Details
- Project Title: Creation of a National Network of Existing and Upcoming High-Risk Pathogens Laboratory (BSL3/4) Labs.
- Funding: ICMR-sponsored
Position Details
1. Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical) – 01 Position
- Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or integrated PG degree with three years post-qualification experience or PhD. For engineering graduate degree of four years with three years post-qualification experience.
- Desirable Experience:
- Handling highly pathogenic viral pathogens in BSL2 and BSL3 facilities
- Molecular assays, especially in real-time PCR for pathogen detection
- Recombinant DNA technology and cell culture
- Sound knowledge in computers including data mining
- Max Age Limit: 40 years
- Stipend: Rs 67,000/- + HRA @ 10% (Rs 73,700/-)
2. Project Technical Support II – 02 Positions
- Qualification: 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering) + Five Years experience in relevant subject/field OR Three years graduate degree in relevant subject/field + two years experience in relevant subject.
- Desirable Experience:
- Working experience in BSL3 facility
- Sound knowledge of medical/laboratory equipment
- Max Age Limit: 30 years
- Stipend: Rs 20,000/- + HRA @ 10% (Rs 22,000/-)
