Job Overview:
As a Senior Life Science Expert – Data & AI, you will evaluate how scientific data is applied within AI systems, establish evaluation metrics, and define success criteria for AI solutions. You’ll collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure AI outputs align with scientific accuracy and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply scientific expertise to design AI evaluation success criteria
- Define evaluation scope and metrics across drug discovery, development, and regulatory areas
- Collaborate with data science teams on data usage and AI outputs
- Guide prompt engineering for structured data retrieval
- Conduct manual and automated scientific evaluations of AI outputs
- Translate findings into documented recommendations for cross-functional teams
Educational Requirements:
- Strong academic background in Life Sciences (bioinformatics, or biochemistry)
Skills Required:
- Experience evaluating AI or algorithmic outputs using scientific data
- Knowledge of structured scientific data, databases, or taxonomies
