Key Responsibilities
- Prepare abstracts for patents in accordance with a set of rules defined in DWPI Abstracting policy document.
- Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information of the patents in the form of a summary that includes descriptive title, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention.
- Achieve production volume and quality targets.
- Maintain awareness of current developments and trends in technology areas related to your domain.
- Take responsibility for identifying technology training and developmental needs for you on an ongoing basis.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager on a permanent or temporary basis.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate in M.Sc Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics), M.Tech Biotechnology.
- Must be a fresh candidate or with not more than one year of experience in the same or related job profile.
Skills Required
- Must have comprehensive knowledge in the respective bio domain.
- Must be skilled in MS Office applications.
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
