- Project Associate II
Job Details:
- Project Title: Genome-wide association mapping of important agronomic traits in the climate-resilient crop little millet (Panicum sumatrense), using a haplotype-resolved genome assembly of the crop plant.
- Duration of the Project: 2 years
- Project Investigator: Dr. Seema Pradhan
- Position: Project Associate II
- Remuneration:
- i) INR 42,000/- + HRA for candidates who have passed (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
- ii) INR 33,000/- + HRA for candidates who do not fall under the above categories.
- Age Limit: 35 years
Eligibility:
- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology from a recognized University or equivalent, and two years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. Candidates with experience in Bioinformatics, especially NGS data analysis, will be preferred.

- All positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final, and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
