Eligibility and Rules
- Students who are currently studying in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of B.Sc/ B.Tech / BS/ BSMS/ B.E (or) 1st year of M.Sc/ M.Tech (or) an equivalent program in basic sciences, engineering sciences etc., are eligible to apply.
Please Note
- Students can apply for up to three projects only.
- You may browse the faculty webpages at the Institute’s website to get more information about their research work.
- Faculty not listed in the available projects will not be offering any summer projects. Kindly do not contact them directly for projects.
Project Duration
4 to 8 weeks between 25 May 2026 and 20 July 2026.
How to Apply?
- Candidates are requested to fill in the Online Internship Application Form. Providing false information will invite cancellation of application/registration.
- The portal will be open from March 11, 2026, to March 29, 2026.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance and the write-up they submit.
- List of candidates selected for the summer internship will be displayed on the institute’s website by the fourth week of April.
Other Details
- No financial assistance will be provided.
- Hostel accommodation will be provided, and charges (₹ 1500/- PM) will be applicable.
- Mess fee will be charged as per actual rates, payable to the mess contractor. (Approx ₹ 3700/- PM).
- After successful completion of the Internship and submission of a detailed project report, a certificate will be issued by Faculty-in-charge.
