Available Positions:
1. DBT funded project entitled “Genomics-assisted breeding for development of Dry-DSR Basmati rice varieties”
- Position: Research Associate (RA)
- No. of posts: One
- Emoluments: Rs. 58,000+27% HRA
- Essential qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences OR 3 years of research, teaching and design, and development experience after M.Tech (Life Sciences) with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. (As per DST Office Memorandum No. DST/PCPM/Z06/2022, Dated:26-07-2023)
- Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, marker-assisted breeding, field phenotyping, and handling of rice crop.
2. ICAR funded project “Consortium Research Platform on Molecular Breeding (Rice)”
- Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- No. of posts: One
- Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/+30% HRA
- Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification or equivalent, or Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines. (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
- Desirable: Experience in molecular markers, marker-assisted breeding, field phenotyping, and handling of rice crop.
3. ICAR funded project Incentivizing Research in Agriculture- Rice
- Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- No. of posts: One
- Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/+30% HRA
- Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree.
