  • Position Title: Project Research Scientist-I (Contractual)
  • No. of Position: 1
  • Project Title: Moonlighting nuclear function of glycolytic enzyme phosphoglycerate mutase enzyme 1 (PfPGM1) in human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum and its therapeutic potential.
  • PI: Prof. Suman Kumar Dhar
  • Age Limit: 35 years

Duration

The selected candidates will be appointed purely on a temporary basis initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance.

Essential Qualification

  • Candidates should possess 1st Class Master’s degree/integrated PG degree in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/allied subject from a recognized university OR
  • 2nd Class Master’s degree including integrated PG degree + PhD degree in Life science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ allied subject from a recognized university.

Desirable

Candidate should have knowledge of Biochemistry/ cell biology /molecular biology and relevant laboratory working experience in the above areas including mammalian/parasite culture experience. Research publication in the relevant areas will be an additional criterion for the candidates.

Remuneration: Rs. 56000/- + HRA as applicable
