Job Overview:
The Clinical Project Coordinator at Novartis provides project management support for Clinical Science initiatives including Medical/Clinical Processes and Clinical Compliance/Quality. The role involves coordinating project activities, managing meetings for cross-functional teams, tracking deliverables, maintaining project documentation, and supporting operational activities in Clinical Development. This position is based in Hyderabad, India, within the Research & Development division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional project activities for Clinical Science initiatives
- Provide operational support to Medical/Clinical Processes and Clinical Compliance/Quality areas
- Plan, organise, and conduct project meetings and workshops
- Track stakeholder deliverables and escalate issues when required
- Capture and report project metrics to support data-driven decisions
- Maintain and update SharePoint sites and project documentation
- Manage calendars, mailboxes, FAQs, and documentation related to project operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to support Clinical Development initiatives
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of Drug Development experience if holding an associate degree or equivalent
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of the drug development process and clinical operations
- Experience managing complex projects in scientific or clinical environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
