Key Responsibilities
In this Clinical Research Job, the Manager of Clinical Operations provides direct supervision and management support to staff across the entire clinical trial lifecycle.
- Operational Oversight: Provide expert guidance for site selection, site contracts support, and regulatory/ethics submissions.
- Line Management: Directly supervise and manage 15–16 clinical operations staff, including interviewing, selection, professional development, and performance appraisals.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local guidelines, and ICH GCP requirements.
- Site Management: Oversee activities ranging from site activation and on-site monitoring to central monitoring and final study close-out.
- Metric Monitoring: Use department dashboards and reports to identify process gaps, monitor performance progress, and ensure metric compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Support senior management in operational planning and participate in business development presentations as a subject matter expert.
- Financial Accountability: Utilize knowledge of basic financial concepts for project forecasting and budget management.
Qualification and Experience: Life Sciences Job

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, a nursing degree, or equivalent related experience is mandatory.
