Job Description
Osam is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Microbiologist to perform microbiological
testing and support quality assurance, research, and regulatory compliance activities. The
selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring product safety, maintaining laboratory
standards, and supporting documentation and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform microbiological testing including bioburden, sterility testing, endotoxin
testing, and environmental monitoring
• Identify and characterize microorganisms using standard microbiological techniques
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and FDA guidelines
• Investigate OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend) results and support
CAPA implementation
• Assist in internal and external audits, validations, and regulatory inspections
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and laboratory logs
• Follow aseptic techniques and contamination control practices
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA and Production
Qualifications
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology or a related field
• 6 months to 1 year of microbiology laboratory experience
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and contamination control
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, dairy, or clinical laboratories
• Experience in environmental monitoring or working with LIMS systems
