Job Overview:
The Biotech Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for supporting Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) manufacturing operations in a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. The role involves executing production activities, maintaining compliance with cGMP standards, and ensuring accurate documentation across all manufacturing stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Operations
- Execute manufacturing activities as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform upstream and downstream processing for biologics manufacturing.
- Support fill-finish operations in Drug Product (DP) manufacturing.
- Operate and monitor bioprocess equipment and production systems.
Aseptic & Cleanroom Practices
- Work in cleanroom and sterile environments following aseptic techniques.
- Ensure proper gowning procedures and contamination control practices.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation as per cGMP guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
- Assist in deviation handling, investigations, and CAPA implementation.
Quality & Safety
- Follow safety protocols and maintain hygiene standards in manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all activities meet quality standards and audit requirements.
Coordination & Support
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams.
- Support production planning and timely batch execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of bioprocessing and aseptic manufacturing
- Understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with cleanroom operations and sterile techniques
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Good problem-solving and teamwork abilities
