Key Responsibilities
- Develop mycorrhiza using ROC method
- Prepare microbial growth media for culture development
- Isolate and purify beneficial microbes from soil and other sources
- Maintain pH and contamination checks of culture media
- Prepare inoculums and conduct FCO parameter testing
- Perform fermentation processes for bacteria and fungi
- Formulate biofertilizer and biopesticide products
Qualifications
M.Sc. Microbiology / M.Sc. Biotechnology / B. Tech Biotechnology / M. Tech Biotechnology
Experience
3 to 5 years in relevant field
Skills Required
- Knowledge of microbial fermentation techniques
- Experience in tissue culture and microbial propagation
- Understanding of biofertilizer and biopesticide formulation
- Experience handling lab instruments such as Autoclave, LAF, Microscope, Centrifuge, pH meter, Spectrophotometer
- Strong laboratory research and analytical skills
